Ing. David Říha, Ph.D., MBA
David Říha is member of marketing department at Faculty of Business Administration, University of Economics in Prague and since 2013 also at University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria School of Management / Steyr. His education: University of Economics in Prague, Escuela Superior de Marketing y Administración Barcelona, internships in Finland, Mexico, Austria and Great Britain. He get practice in sales and marketing on managerial posts in national and international corporations but also in consulting practice .
JUDr. David Šmíd, Ph.D.
He graduated Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, field Law and Jurisprudence. At the same faculty he finished also his Ph.D. studies in Theoretical Legal Science. He was active in the field of health care and in insurance company, as a corporate lawyer or candidate attorney. In the present he works in attorney´s bureau. He is an author of publication New Civil Code For The General Public – with reading of selected provisions, published in 2014, many articles in reviewed collections and tens of articles about actual law issues.
is lecturer/ docent at the ZHAW School of Management and Law and he teaches and researches in Human Capital Management, Leadership & Business Ethics, Evidence-Based Management, Health Care Management, Organizational Culture and People Analytics.
prof. Ing. Jiří Hnilica, Ph.D.
Head of Department of Strategy at Faculty of Business Administration, Vice-Rector for International Relations at University of Economics in Prague. His specialities: Family Businesses, Strategic management and Business administration. He spent 5 months at University of Aarhus (Denmark) and 4 months at University of Denver (USA) and guest lecturer at Bocconi University. He is also author or co-author of more than 110 publications, 5 articles in magazines with impact factor.
Ing. Kateřina Legnerová, Ph.D., MBA
She worked on high managerial posts in banking sector. She has more than 15 years of managerial experience in ČSOB department. This department was successfully transformed to client-oriented and supporting bank strategy realization and clients´ requirements. Kateřina has many years´ experience in the field of talent scouting for managerial and expert posts. She is actively engaged in coaching.
He is a founding partner of UEPA advokáti s.r.o.. He is a member of the Czech Bar as well as of the German and Slovak Bar and has been practising as an attorney in the Czechia since 2000 and in Slovakia since the founding of UEPA advokáti s.r.o. in Bratislava. He spent many years working at international law firms in Prague, such as CMS Cameron McKenna and Taylor Wessing (previously e|n|w|c). He not only focuses on transactional work such as M&A and real estate transactions, but also advises a number of international companies. One of Lars´ prominent projects in the recent past has been the sale of the 400 room Dorint Don Giovanni to a hotel investment fund. Another of Lars specializations is accompanying Czech and Slovak investors in their investment projects and business abroad, in particular in direction to Germany. Among Lars´ clients are also automotive components and electronics manufacturers, IT companies, service providers and financial institutions, Lars also lectures at VŠE.
doc. Ing. Mgr. Martin Lukeš, Ph.D.
He graduated in Psychology at FF UK and Management at FPH VŠE. Since 2001 he is active at University of Economics. He is a reader at Department of Entrepreneurship, where he specializes in inovative behaviour development of team and entrepreneur skills. He is a vice-dean for science, research and Ph.D. studies at Faculty of Business Administration. In the past he was head of Development and Counselling Centre VŠE, which mission is to increase chances of students and graduates on the job market.
Prof. Dr. Mathias Schüz
is Professor for Responsible Leadership of the Center for Human Capital Management at the ZHAW School of Management and Law. He teaches and researches in Responsible Leadership, Apllied Business Ethics, Stratey Management, Corporate Responsibility and Corporate Culture, Risiko and Value Management, Executive Education, Corporate Universities.
Nico Ebert, Dr. oec. HSG
is Lecturer at the Institute of Business Information Systems at the School of Management and Law, ZHAW. After his studies of Information Systems, he completed his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen and Tsinghua University in the field of Industrialized Information Management. He worked at McKinsey & Company and founded the Zurich-based tutoring agency Learning Culture. Since 2016, he teaches and researches in Business Analysis, Process Management and Data Privacy.
Doc. Ing. Miroslav Špaček, MBA, Ph.D.
He graduated University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague, Prague International Business School and University of Economics in Prague. In the past, he occupied high managerial posts in industry sector namely chemistry, pharmacy and facility management. He specializes in scenario and simulative approaches to risk analysis of investment projects, postaudits of invesment projects, financial management and decision-making, management of inovations, strategic, process a crisis management. Since 2010 he works as academic at University of Economics in Prague at Faculty of Business Administration and at University of Economics and Management in Prague. He is an author or co-author of 5 monographs and professional publications, 16 patents and more than 50 professional and scientific articles focused on investment decision, inovations, business administration, crisis and strategic management.
Ing. Petr Kolář, Ph.D.
He started his career in danish shipping company Maersk Line, then he developed his managerial skills in business development of small and medium-size enterprises. In the present he works in Department of Logistics at Faculty of Business Administration at University of Economics in Prague (VŠE). Within theory and project practice he engages in consulting, training, research and pedagogically in multimodal transport primarly container shipping. He is an author of several monographs and many professional articles published in The Czech Republic and abroad. He is a member of International Association of Maritime Economists and deputy of VŠE in international professional platform CEMS Logistics. Via Department of Logistics he is also a member of Association of Forwarding and Logistics of The Czech Republic and Czech Logistics Association.
Mgr. Ing. Stanislav Háša, Ph.D.
He graduated at VŠE in Prague and studied also psychology at FF UK, then get Ph.D. in management at VŠE. At present he is a head of Department of management at VŠE and lecture at FF UK, he founded and works in development and therapeutic center Po poli, within Prothea Advisory company he engages in HR and management consulting. Between his passions you can find development programs for HR professionals, inspirational workshops for management and group facilitation. Within couching he works with senior HR professionals and top management, he specializes in the field of personal and corporate transformation.
Mgr. Tereza Králová, Ph.D.
She graduated at Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague in the field of Work and Organizational Psychology, then also studied postgraduate studies of Management at FPH VŠE. At present she is a lecturer in Department of Managerial Psychology and Sociology VŠE. She dedicates to education, psychological, career and personal counselling, diagnostics, and not only towards VŠE students, but also towards workers outside of the academic sphere.
doc. Ing. Tomáš Pavelka, Ph.D.
For a long time he dedicates to theoretical and applied macroeconomics. He is an author of basic Macroeconomics course textbook, which is used all The Czech Republic and co-author of intermediate Macroeconomics course textbook which is also widely use in Czechia. His professional career is focused on job market issues. Publication activities in this field are in particular related to economic activities of foreign nationals on the Czech job market, unemploment development, and minimum wages.
